Jason G Niblett, age 42, of Green River was arrested on 8/14/12 at 4:45 pm on S 6th W and Railroad Street for Hit and Run and Driving While Intoxicated. Officers were dispatched to a Hit and Run crash on E 2nd S at Uinta Drive involving a passenger car and a utility vehicle. The utility vehicle left the scene of the crash and was later stopped by a detective with the GRPD. The investigation showed Niblett was the driver of the utility vehicle and that he was intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was taken into custody and transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment of his complaint of injuries and a blood sample was taken for evidence. After his release from the hospital he was transported to jail.
Charles M Rogillio, age 53, of Green River was arrested on 8/14/12 at 11:02 pm on S 3rd E for Driving While Intoxicated. Rogillio was stopped for a tail light violation and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated. Rogillio was taken into custody and transported to jail where a breath test showed his blood alcohol concentration at over double the legal limit.
Johnna Gostovich, age 49, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended on 8/14/12 at 6:19 pm on Railroad Street. Gostovich was stopped for a registration violation and a driver’s license check showed her license to be suspended.
Megan Brehm reported a Hit and Run crash at the Pizza Hut parking lot when her red Honda Civic was struck by an unknown vehicle causing approximately $500 in damages. The crash occurred between 05:30 am and 3:30 pm on 8/14/12. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a report of a Domestic Battery on Summer View Drive when a 16 year old male advised he was struck several times by his mother. The mother admitted to striking her child and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Officers investigated a crash at the Bridger Loaf and Jug parking lot when a car driven by Chariti Hanson-Eslick and a car driven by Janelle Castillon collided. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported.
Officers took a Larceny report on Railroad Street when the victim reported someone stole her registration tabs off her license plates.
Animal Control Officer took a complaint of dogs at large on Shoshone Ave. The dogs’ owner could not be contacted at that time.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing a drug test on Commerce Way.
An unregistered Dodge Durango was tagged for a Five Day Parking violation on S 5th E.
Officers assisted a 49 year old male on Wilderness Trail who had fallen and could not get up on his own.
Officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances when the victim advised someone rang her doorbell at 3:13 am. The area was checked and no suspect was located.
