John Macloughlin, age 56, no known address, was arrested on 8/23/12 at 6:38 pm on Uinta Drive for Open Container and Littering. Officers were dispatched to a business on Uinta Drive regarding a male subject who was out front drinking and pan handling. Upon arrival officer met with a subject who was holding a can of beer in his hand. When officer told the man to empty the beer can and throw it in the trash, her threw the can into the store’s parking lot. Macloughlin was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Officers investigated a report of Burglary on Sioux Circle when the victim advised someone entered her residence and stole some of her property. The victim believes the suspect may be her ex-boyfriend because the items missing were presents to her from him. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Officers investigated a crash at the GRHS parking lot when a car driven by a 16 year old male struck the rear of a car driven by Candice Jones. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles and Jones later reported pin in her left shoulder.
Officers investigated a crash on Railroad Street at N 4th W when a car driven by Stan Blake struck the rear of a car driven by Soveida Arguello. Damage to both cars was estimated at over $1000 each and no injuries were reported.
A Malicious Mischief report was taken on Shoshone Ave when the victim advised someone scratched the rear of her vehicle with a sharp object. The victim stated she thought it was her ex-boyfriend who may have caused the damage but he denied damaging the victim’s car when interviewed. Officers took a report of a Violation of a Protection Order on Monroe Ave.
Officers were dispatched to Alabama Drive for a parking complaint; the vehicles owner was given a verbal warning.
An older boat and trailer were tagged abandoned on South Carolina Drive at Virginia Drive.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents on Commerce Drive by witnessing drug tests for clients.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a dog at large on Clark Street at Astle Ave; the dog was returned to the owner with a verbal warning.
Officers were dispatched to a juvenile problem on Windriver Drive; the child was talked to by officers.
Officers responded to a complaint of a barking dog on E 3rd N: the dog was taken inside by the owner when police arrived.
