Jesse W Patten, age 25, of Green River, was arrested on 8/23/12 at 02:06 am on E Flaming Gorge Way for Driving While Intoxicated. Patten was stopped for several traffic violations and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated at the time of the stop. Patten was taken into custody and a breath test at the jail showed his blood alcohol concentration at over double the legal limit.
Robert P Lewis, age 23, of Green River was arrested on 8/23/12 at 12:21 am on Riverview Drive at Driftwood Street on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Suspended. Lewis was a passenger car that was stopped for a traffic violation and warrants check showed the outstanding warrant for his arrest.
Officers investigated a report of Domestic Battery on S 6th W when the victim advised her husband took her cell phone to keep her from police after he grabbed her by the arms and put his hand over her mouth to quiet her down. The victim refused any aid from county agencies provided for victims of domestic violence. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
An Auto Burglary report was investigated on Trona Drive when the victim advised his silver Pontiac 4 door car and stole his CD case containing over 250 CDs. The victim estimated his loss at over $2000. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Wanda Gibson reported a Hit and Run crash at 98 Uinta Drive when a gray or silver vehicle struck her parked red Pontiac Grand Am. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
A Disturbing the Peace warning was issued on W 2nd N when the victim advised she is having trouble sleeping because of noise coming from her neighbors home. The neighbor was contacted and warned.
Officers initiated a welfare check on Cumorah Way when a neighbor became concerned with a child crying in a neighboring residence. Police made contact and all was well at the residence.
Officers were dispatched to Alabama Drive regarding an unattended 3 year old. The child’s mother was with her when police arrived.
Animal Control Officers took a complaint of barking dogs on Jefferson Street; the dog’s owner was contacted and given a warning.
A Stalking report was taken on Shoshone Ave; the victim was advised as to what steps to take for a protection order and how to document the events.
Animal Control Officers responded to a badger compliant on Uinta Drive. The badger was captured and relocated out of the city.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing client’s drug tests on Commerce Way.
Officers responded to parking complaints on Logan Street; two vehicles were tagged for 5 day parking violations.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to a report of a snake on Bridger Drive; officers were unable to locate the snake.

A Disturbing the Peace warning was issued on Indian Hills Drive when the victim complained of neighbors talking loudly outside their residence.
