Corey W Bradford, age 22, of Green River was arrested on 8/25/12 at 10:19 pm hours on Uinta Drive for Driving While Intoxicated. Bradford was stopped for a speeding violation and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated at the time of the stop. Bradford was transported to jail where a breath test showed his blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit.
Christopher D Carmine, age 24, of Green River was arrested on 8/24/12 at 09:56 am on Iowa Circle on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Suspended. Officers were assisting the Department of Family Services with a welfare check and the occupants of the residence were checked for warrants. Carmine was transported to jail without incident.
Patrick Williams, age 29, of Green River was arrested on 8/25/12 at 02:21 am on N 1st E at Railroad Ave for Public Intoxication. An officer stopped Williams when he observed him walking erratically on Railroad Street. Williams said he was just walking to a friend’s house to spend the night. A few minutes later, Williams returned to where his car was parked and was about to enter the car to drive off when the officer stopped him again and arrested him.
Bonnie Jo Ritter, age 50, of Green River was arrested on 8/25/12 at 11:25 am on South Wagonwheel Drive for Public Intoxication. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance and contacted Ritter and she was warned for disturbing the peace. Officers were called back to the same residence a second time and Ritter was arrested.
Jessilyn Potter age 27, of Green River was cited for Shoplifting on 8/25/12 at 11:14 am on Bridger Drive. Potter was confronted by store personnel when she left the business with a cart of clothing for which she did not pay for and then left the area when told to return to the store. The police were contacted and Potter returned to store and was cited for the crime.
Benjamin W Spillman, age 27, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended on 8/26/12 at 05:52 pm on E Teton Blvd and Alabama Drive. An officer observed Spillman driving a vehicle and knew of his suspension from prior contacts. The officer confirmed through dispatch that Spillman’s license was still suspended and the officer stopped and cited him.
Officers investigated a report of a Domestic dispute on Colorado Drive when a third party called police. Officers observed the male half to have scratched on his arm and he advised his wife accidently scratched him when reaching for his cell phone. The wife confirmed the husband’s account and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
The Green River Police Department is trying to locate a male who witnessed an assault on Shoshone Ave on 8/17/12 at about 10:40 pm when he stopped to render aid to a female subject who was assaulted by her boyfriend. The witness is believed to be driving a white diesel pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet. If you know this person or are the witness, please call Detective Sergeant Robert Ross at 872-0555.
Officers responded to a report of a verbal dispute on Monroe Ave when the wife advised her husband had been drinking and they were having an argument. The wife stated she decided to go to bed and her husband began to destroy their residence. When police arrived there were no signs of a physical assault and the wife and children left for the night.
Officers responded to a juvenile problem between a brother and sister on Hitching Post Drive. The parent advised she would take care of the situation and thanked police for responding.
Officers investigated a report of suspicious circumstances at the Municipal Horse Corrals when the victim advised someone is feeding her horse. She advised she believes the person is probably feeding for a friend and just has the wrong corral.
Officers investigated a crash on Upland Way when a car driven by Jessica Madura struck a pickup truck driven by Jason Love. No injuries were reported and damage to the Love truck was estimated at over $1000 and under $1000 to the Maura car. Madura was cited for Inattentive Driving by the investigating officer.
A trespass warning was issued on Idaho Street at the request of the home owner for 18 year old son.
A barking dog complaint was taken on S 5th E; the owner was contacted by phone and she advised she would take care of the problem.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Cumorah Way with a 58 year old male who was feeling weak and unstable.
Officers assisted Fire Department personnel with a report of a fire on South Wagonwheel Drive. A subject left a pot on the stove and it began to smoke.
Abandoned vehicles were tagged for Five Day Parking on Crossbow Street and on Barnhart Street.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Mansface Street with a 62 year old female suffering from a seizure.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Cumorah Way with a 59 year old male suffering from alcohol detoxification.
A stray cat was impounded on Windriver Drive.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a dog at large on W Flaming Gorge Way; a female chocolate lab was impounded.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a snake on Clark Street; the snake was caught and released in the county.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a skunk in a trap on Hackberry Street.
