Officers were dispatched to 500 block of E. 5 S. at 2:36 AM to a report of a barking dog. The reporting party requested the owner of the barking dog be given a verbal warning. The owner of the dog was contacted and the dog was quieted.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Hackberry St. to a report of a skunk in a trap. The skunk was relocated.
Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Expedition Island Pavilion. The alarm was accidentally set off by other city employees.
Officers investigated a one vehicle collision on the Uinta Dr. river bridge. A 16 year old female was southbound on the bridge and ran the 1997 Ford F-150 she was driving into the bridge railing while she was shifting gears. The female was cited into Green River Municipal Court for Improper Lane Usage. Damages were estimated at less than $1000 to the pickup.

Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Jensen St. to an anonymous report of small children riding their bicycles in the middle of the street. The officers were unable to locate any children in the area upon their arrival.
Officers were dispatched to the Oak Tree Inn to a two vehicle collision between a UPRR vehicle and an Oak Tree Inn vehicle. Officers found no damage to either vehicle and no one was injured, so no report was taken.
Green River Police Department Detectives received a residential burglary report from a citizen on Arizona. The detectives were there following up on another case when the citizen found other property missing. The investigation is continuing.
Officers received a report of an unlicensed day care operating on W. 2 N. The report was forwarded to the Department of Family Services.

The Department of Corrections, Probation, and Parole requested a Drug Recognition Expert respond to their office to evaluate a probationer at their office. The officer arrived on scene and determined the appearance of dilated eye pupils were caused by colored contact lenses.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Conestoga Lane to a report of a former roommate stealing money from the citizen. The report was forwarded to the county attorney’s office for review.

A child that had been placed in the custody of the State of Wyoming left Monroe School in an attempt to return to his home. The child was located by a private citizen and taken to the police department. The child was turned over to the youth home staff.

A citizen turned in a stray cat at the animal shelter that was caught on the north side of town.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Upland to a report of a stray black lab contained at a residence. The dog was impounded.
Officers investigated a disturbance behind the Ponderosa in which officers observed two male subjects engaged in an apparent argument. As officers approached one subject left, but officers found one subject leaning against a trailer unable to leave due to his intoxicated state. Officers arrested Brent Wilde at 9:08 PM for Public Intoxication and transported him to the Sweetwater County Detention Facility and booked him into jail.
