Aaron B Clark, age 33, of Green River was arrested on 9/17/12 at 5:20 pm on W 3rd S on an Arrest and Hold Order from Probation and Parole. Clark was located, taken into custody and transported to jail without incident.
A 16 year old male was cited for Driving While Suspended on 9/17/12 at 12:12 pm on Uinta Drive. The juvenile was stopped for speeding and a driver’s license check showed his license to be suspended.
Officers investigated a crash at the Smith’s Store parking lot when a car driven by Daniel Watts backed into a car driven by Zella Norberg. Damage to the Norberg car was estimated at over $1000 and under $1000 to the Watts’ car; no injuries were reported.
A Nuisance Property warning was issued on W Teton Blvd.
A Malicious Mischief report was taken on Wilderness Trail when the victim advised someone had entered her yard and damaged one of the pickets on her fence.
Officers took a report of a vehicle passing a school bus on Monroe Ave when a maroon GMC Yukon with temporary plates passed a string of busses displaying their stops signs and lights. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a report of an attempted Fraud when the victim advised she listed her pickup truck on wwwksl.com for sale. The victim said she was asking $3000 for her truck and received a check for $4450 for the purchase of the truck and she was to return $1900 to the purchaser in South Carolina. She went to cash the check and realized it was a fraud.
A Disturbing the Peace report was taken on Wilson Street; a report was forwarded to the city prosecutor for review.
Officers took a report regarding a female juvenile being contacted by an adult male on Facebook. The male was from the Middle East and was suggestive during their chats. The juvenile logged off her computer and deleted and blocked the male attempts to contact her.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a skunk in a trap on E Teton Blvd.
A white Chevrolet Monte Carlo without registration plates was tagged abandoned on New Hampshire Street.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Firehole Place with an 83 year old male who was ill.
Officers were dispatched to Keith Drive regarding a parking problem; owner was contacted and the vehicle was moved.
Officers took a report of an attempted Fraud on E Teton Blvd when the intended victim advised she received a phone call from a woman pretending to be a relative in jail in Mexico and needed money for bail. The victim realized the call was a fraud and no money was sent.
Officers assisted a 67 year old male on S 5th W who fell and needed assistance getting up.
Animal Control Officers impounded a gray and white stray cat on Homestead Drive.
Officers cited the owner of a green Chevrolet pickup truck for illegal parking on N Center St.
