Melissa D Story, age 31, of Green River was arrested on 9/27/12 at 12:43 am on Faith Drive on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Failure to Use Seatbelt. An officer was checking a suspicious vehicle parked at the Hilltop Baptist Church parking lot. The officer made contact with the occupants and checked their status when he learned of the arrest warrant for Story.

Anthony J Lucero, age 26, of Green River was arrested on 9/27/12 at 02:13 am on W Flaming Gorge Way for Driving While Intoxicated. Lucero was contacted at the parking lot of the Oak Tree Inn and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated and in physical control of a motor vehicle. Lucero was taken into custody and transported to jail where a breath test showed his blood alcohol concentration was over the legal limit.

Officers investigated a multiple vehicle crash on Uinta Drive when a SUV driven by a 16 year old male struck the rear of a car driven by a second 16 year old male which in turn was pushed into the rear of a van driven by Marcia Volner. Four subjects were reported to be injured but refused medical treatment at the scene. Damage to all three vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each. The first juvenile was cited for Inattentive Driving.

Officers responded to E Railroad Street for a missing persons report; the subject was later located and was fine.

Animal Control Officers assisted the owner of a horse at the municipal corrals that had its leg caught in a panel.

Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing client’s drug tests on Commerce Way.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel with a 67 year old female who had fallen in her residence and needed assistance getting up.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Mansface Street with an 80 year old male who had a bloody nose that wound not stop bleeding.
