Animal Control Officers were dispatched to Monroe Intermediate School to a report of a badger being observed in the area. Animal Control Officers were unable to locate the badger.

Officers were dispatched to an anonymous report of a trailer parked on the street on the 700 block of W 5 N. The officer was unable to contact the owner of the trailer, but left a warning at the residence.

The Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole at 140 Commerce Dr. requested assistance from the GRPD K-9 unit to search a probationer’s vehicle.

Officers assisted the Fire Department with a fire alarm at the Central Administration office of School District 1. The alarm had malfunctioned.

Officers administered a drug test to a probationer at the Wyoming Department of Corrections, Probation, and Parole Office at 140 Commerce Dr.

Officers responded to abandoned vehicle calls on Medicine Bow and Elk Mountain. A black and white Ford pickup and a black and white Honda were tagged for removal.

Officers were dispatched to an anonymous parking complaint on Easy St. The owner was given a verbal warning.

Animal Control Officers impounded a stray cat that was trapped at residence on Arizona St.

Animal Control Officers impounded a white Pit Bull that was running at large in the area of W. 4 N. and Sunset St.

A citizen came to the police department and reported a violation of a restraining order issued out of state. The ex-spouse was trying to contact the citizen through social networking website.

A citizen came to the police department and turned in a MasterCard they found in a local parking lot.

Officers were dispatched to the Wyoming Department of Corrections, Probation, and Parole Office at 140 Commerce Dr. to administer a drug test to a probationer.

Officers were dispatched to a business on Uinta Dr. to a report of the business receiving a counterfeit bill. The business received a counterfeit $50 bill from a person at their drive up window. The investigation is ongoing and it is unknown at this time if this is an isolated incident or not, but the Green River Police Depart urges businesses to carefully monitor the large bills they may receive through normal business transactions.

Officers were dispatched to an anonymous report of a fight in progress involving five male subjects in the area of Medicine Bow and Crossbow. Officers were unable to locate the involved subjects upon their arrival.
