Rayme D Hall, age 46, of Green River was cited for Shoplifting on 10/22/12 at 04:29 hours on Uinta Drive. Officers were dispatched to the Family Dollar Store regarding a shoplifter and made contact with the store manager who pointed out Hall as the suspect he saw shoplifting. Hall was confronted by officers and admitted to stealing several items from the store. Hall was cited and given a trespass warning for the store.
Officers took a runaway report on Buckboard Lane when the parents of a 17 year old male advised their son left their residence on 10/20/12 and had not returned. The father advised he saw his son over the weekend in a tan car but was unable to stop him. A signed report by the parents was obtained by officer authorizing law enforcement officers to pickup and hold the juvenile.
A 13 year old male reported he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle on Hitching Post Drive on 10/22/12 at 6:45 pm. The juvenile advised passersby stopped and helped him and advised the boy he was struck by a vehicle. The child did not get the passersby’s names or phone numbers. Officers investigated a hit and run crash on S 4th W when a car driven by Matthew Brandt when a car driven by Ryan Lundgren passed Brandt’s car then suddenly braked causing Brandt’s car to hit the rear of the car driven by Lundgren. Lundgren left the scene when police arrived and was unable to be located. Damage to the Brandt car was estimated at over $1000 and no injuries were reported.
Officers took a report of Unlawful Use of a credit card on Uinta Drive when the victim reported she lost her wallet and an unknown person tried to use a credit card from the missing wallet. The victim advised she discovered her wallet missing on 10/18/12 and reported all her credit cards as lost. On 10/19/12 she went to her bank and found that someone had tried to use her debit card here in town. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a cat in a trap on S 4th W.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing clients’ drug tests on Commerce Way.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Arkansas Drive with a 56 year old female complaining of pain in her leg from a blood clot.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a fight on E Railroad Ave; it was verbal in nature and no arrests were made.
