Larry D Paxton, age 59, of Green River was arrested on 10/30/12 at 01:25 am on E 2nd S for Driving While Suspended and Possession of Methamphetamine. Paxton was stopped for a traffic violation and a driver’s license check showed Paxton’s license to be suspended. Paxton was taken into custody and a search of his person incidental to arrest showed he was in possession of methamphetamine.
Cory A Doak, age 47, of Green River was arrested on 10/29/12 at 09:53 am on Shoshone Ave for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd Offense, and Open Container. Doak was stopped for a speeding violation and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated. Doak was taken into custody and transported to jail where a breath test showed his blood alcohol concentration at over double the legal limit.
Officers investigated a crash at the Smith Store parking lot when a van driven by Bobby Cudney struck a parked SUV owned by Ranch Hand Welding. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported.
Officers investigated a report of Larceny on Bridger Drive when the victim reported someone siphoned off approximately $15 of gas from her car and damaged her cars gas cap housing. The damage to the car was estimated at over $50.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing client’s drug tests on Commerce Way.
Officers assisted a motorist at Astle Ave and Andrews Street whose vehicle ran out of gas.
Officers responded to a request for a subject removal on W Flaming Gorge Way; the subject was contacted and left without incident.
Officers responded to a complaint of a dog in a pickup truck on W Railroad Street growling at pedestrians. The dog’s owner was contacted and advised.
