Jonathan Hughes, age 40, was arrested on 5/13/2010 at 16:05 hour on Butte St. pursuant to an arrest warrant that had been issued when Hughes failed to appear in court regarding a driving while suspended charge. Hughes was subsequently charged with Interference with a peace officer after he resisted arrest by refusing to place his arms behind his back and attempting to walk away from officers.

Officers investigated the illegal dumping of cardboard and paper in the canyon behind Western Wyoming Community College. The dumping occurred between 5/9/2010 and 5/13/2010. Anyone seeing vehicles in the area south of the college during that time period is encouraged to notify the police department.

Officers received a report of a suicidal subject who had left the area of Logan St. The subject was located and was unharmed.

Officers were dispatched to a reported shoplifting on Uinta Dr. A 14 year old juvenile was contacted at that location. The juvenile was cited and released to his father.

Officers were called to the area of Kentucky St. regarding a barking dog on 4/13/2010 at approximately 2210. Multiple residents had complained about the barking. The owner of the dog was issued a citation.
