Officers investigated a crash on Adams Street when a car driven by Kerry Rivera sideswiped three parked vehicles. No injuries were reported and damage to the Rivera car was estimated at over $1000. Damage to vehicle # 2 a passenger car owned by Matthew Baker was estimated at over $1000. Vehicle #3, a passenger car owned by Kenneth Baker, sustained damage in excess of $1000 and the 4th vehicle, also owned by Kenneth Baker, a pickup truck had damages estimated at under $1000.
Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on Bridger Drive when an unknown vehicle lost control on slippery roadways and struck a parked Dodge Ram owned by David Hyer. Damage to the Hyer vehicle was estimated at under $1000. Officers located a suspect vehicle but no contact has been made with the owner. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers investigated a crash on Bridger Drive when a car driven by Colleen Voelz failed to yield right of way when exiting the Smith’s Food Store parking lot and was struck by a pickup truck driven by Steven Schultz. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each. Voelz was cited for Failure to Yield.
Officers investigated a crash at the parking lot for Daytime Day Care when a vehicle driven by Denise Toman backed into a parked car owned by Amber Silva. No injuries were reported and damage to the Silva car was estimated at under $1000 and over $1000 to the Toman vehicle.
Officers investigated a report of Attempted Criminal Entry and Property Destruction on Schultz Street when the victim advised someone attempted to enter her trailer through a window and knocked over a fish tank. The fish tank was completely destroyed and no entry was gained. The investigation is ongoing.
A Malicious Mischief report was taken on Uinta Drive when a delivery van owned by the Green River Star newspaper was vandalized. The van was parked in the parking area at the newspaper when the damage to the passenger side mirror and window was discovered. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
A Harassing Telephone Call report was taken on Cumorah Way. The suspect was not contacted at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
Animal Control Officers investigated a report of Nuisance Animals on Colorado Drive; the owner was not at home and a notice of the complaint was left at the residence.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing a clients drug tests on Commerce Way.
Animal Control Officers investigated a report of a dog bite on Medicine Bow Drive when the victim advised he was bitten by a large brown and white dog while he was walking to a friend’s house. The dog was identified and secured at the owner’s residence and a note was left for the owner to contact Animal Control.
Officers responded to Harrison School reference a parking problem. Several drivers were warned.
Officers assisted Department of Family Services’ personnel with a welfare check on Cumorah Way.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Apache Street with a 70 year old male complaining of chest pains.
