Friday, December 28th

Officers were dispatched to a location on Uinta Dr. for a report of a suspicious vehicle that had been left idling for over an hour. The vehicle occupant was found to be sleeping and he was released from the scene.

Officers were dispatched to a location on Railroad Ave. to assist an elderly male who had fallen out of his chair.

An officer was dispatched to Smith’s Grocery store in reference to an abandoned vehicle in the parking lot. The owner was contacted and asked to remove his vehicle.

Officers responded to Grant Circle for a civil issue regarding snow removal.

Officers responded to Midwest Dr. in reference to an abandoned vehicle. A notice was placed on the vehicle and the owner was notified.

Officers responded to a location on East Teton Blvd., in reference to a welfare check on a child. An anonymous report was received that the adults in the residence were arguing. Officers checked the child’s welfare and the safety of the child was determined to be satisfactory.

An ambulance was dispatched to a location on Uinta Drive for a report of a 33 year old female with severe abdominal pain. The female subject was transported to the hospital.

Officers responded to the Sweet Dreams Inn in reference to a report of Malicious Mischief. The manager reported damage to an exterior door, writing on the mirrors in the room, and removal of the smoke detectors in the room. The manager provided information regarding who had rented the room and this incident is currently under investigation.

Officers assisted a female subject at the police department with suspicious circumstances regarding identity theft.

Officers posted a notice on a camper trailer on South Wagonwheel Dr. that was in violation of the 72 hour parking ordinance.

Officers responded to the Uinta Loaf’n’Jug in reference to a gas skip. The suspect vehicle was described as a bright gold full sized Chevy Suburban, and the amount of fuel taken was $62.00. The driver of the vehicle has not yet been identified; please contact the police department if you have any information.

Officers responded to a location on Cummorah Way in reference to a civil custody issue and possible child abuse. Follow-up regarding the case was conducted by detectives.

Officers responded to a location on Schultz St. to speak with a female subject who wished to report harassment by her ex-boyfriend.

Officers responded to The Green Gander to assist the staff with an intoxicated disorderly male subject. The subject was permitted to contact a family member for a ride.


Saturday, December 29th

Officers responded to the area of Pioneer Park to in reference to a REDDI report. While en route, the suspect vehicle was observed traveling northbound on Uinta and onto the overpass. Officers observed the vehicle to be traveling at a high rate of speed, and observed the vehicle drift out of the lane of travel. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver, who was identified as 46 year old Cynthia Campbell, was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. She was transported and booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center. She will face a preliminary hearing in Green River Municipal Court.

Officers responded to the Loaf’n’Jug on Uinta Dr. in reference to a verbal altercation in the parking lot. The subjects involved were located leaving the scene in a vehicle. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle and the driver, who was identified as 22 year old Michael Whicker, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was transported and booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center. He will face a preliminary hearing in Green River Municipal Court.

Officers observed and made contact with an intoxicated male on East 2nd South. He was escorted back to his residence where family members agreed to watch over him for the remainder of the night.

Officers located a Cocker Spaniel on Crossbow Dr. and returned it to its owner on Elk Mountain Circle.

Officers responded to Rocky Mountain Carwash for a report of accidental damage to a wash arm when a customer pulled their vehicle too far forward. The vehicle sustained minor damage and the amount of damage sustained to the wash arm was unknown at the time of the report.

A parking complaint was received on W. Flaming Gorge Way. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and the vehicle was moved.

Officers were dispatched to the area of W. Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a REDDI report. The suspect vehicle was located parked at Penny’s Diner and contact was made with the driver. No arrests were made.

Officers responded to Clark Street in reference to a welfare check on a dog that was outside. Officers contacted the dog’s owner and verified that the dog had a heated dog house.


Sunday, December 30th

Officers responded to the Loaf’n’Jug on Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a citizen assist. A cab driver reported that an intoxicated male refused to pay for his cab service. The male was located and agreed to pay for the cab service.

Officers observed a vehicle in violation of the city ordinance prohibiting hill climbing, and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle on Riverview Dr., near Pecan Dr. The driver of the vehicle, who was identified as 33 year old Michael Mount , was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was transported and booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center. He will face a preliminary hearing in Green River Municipal Court.

Officers responded to 1400 Bridger Dr. in reference to an unknown subject attempting to enter an apartment. When Officers arrived, they located an intoxicated female subject and determined that she had unintentionally attempted to enter the wrong apartment. She was escorted to the correct apartment.

Officers conducted a person check on a male subject on Bridger Drive near Smith’s. The male subject, who was identified as 20 year old Correy Simmons, was issued a citation for Underage Consumption of Alcohol. He was then given a ride to his residence and released.
