Melisa M Parker, age 33, of Salt Lake City Utah, was arrested on 1/4/12 at 12:45 am on Cumorah Way on a warrant out of Salt Lake County for parole violation on the original charge of Homicide. Officers responded to a 911 hang up call on Cumorah Way and subsequent investigation found Parker hiding in a bathroom in the apartment. A warrants check eventually led to Parker’s arrest.

Officers took a Malicious Mischief report on Bridger Drive when the victim advised someone had slashed the tires on her 1978 Ford Bronco she has for sale at the Smith’s Store parking lot. The victim estimated her loss at over $850. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

A report of a Violation of a Protection Order was investigated on Maryland Drive when the victim advised she received a phone call from the suspect. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Officers investigated a crash in the alley at the end on S 6th W when a pickup truck driven by Joseph Buh backed into a car driven by Judy Carroll. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each.

Officers investigated a crash on N 4th W when a vehicle driven by Harris Forster backed into a car driven by a 16 year old male. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each. Foster was cited for Improper Backing.

Animal Control Officers issued a warning on Bridger Drive when a third party reported a dog was out for an extended period during extreme cold temperatures. The owner was contacted and warned.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Wilderness Trail with a 54 year old male who had recent lung surgery and was having difficulty breathing.

Animal Control Officers took a complaint of a citizen feeding deer on Stephens Street.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Tennessee Drive with a 59 year old male who was having trouble after recent brain surgery.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Wyoming Drive with a 57 year old female who had fallen and was having problems breathing.
