Antonio F Middleton, age 48, of Green River was arrested on 1/11/13 at 10:12 pm on Powell Street for Interference with a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest. Officers were dispatched to a report of a physical Domestic Dispute on Powell Street. When officer arrived the female half was outside the residence along with some of her personal property. Officers contacted Middleton who was standing on the porch of the residence. Officers approached Middleton and began questioning him about the dispute. Middleton told officers they could not enter the residence and they asked to see his children to make sure they were safe. Middleton called to his children and they came to the front room. Officers began questioning the children as to what they saw and Middleton ordered them to their rooms and refused to let the officers talk with the children who witnessed the dispute. Middleton was placed under arrest for Interference with a Police Officer and he resisted arrest.
Zachary J Brady, age 19, of Green River was arrested on 1/12/13 at 02:25 am on Wind River Drive for Underage Consumption. Officers responded to a report of a male subject trying to gain entry to an apartment. Upon arrival officers contacted Brady who insisted he lived in the apartment. Brady was intoxicated and he was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Parker O Mortensen, age 20, of Rock Springs and Jeremy Harmon, age 19, of Green River were cited for Underage Consumption on 1/12/13 at 11:46 pm on Cumorah Way. Officers were investigating a parking violation when contact was made with Harmon and Mortensen and subsequent investigation showed both subjects were under the influence of alcohol and underage.
Amber R Hensley, age 19, of Green River was cited for Disturbing the Peace on 1/13/13 at 01:14am on Cumorah Way. Officers were dispatched to Cumorah Way regarding a disturbing the peace complaint. Hensley was contacted at her apartment and she was cited for the violation.
Officers took a Larceny report on Hitching Post Drive when the victim advised someone stole his Samsung Touch Screen cell phone while he was at work. The victim advised the phone was new and was valued at $250. The investigation is ongoing.
A Malicious Mischief complaint was taken on Hitching Post Drive when the victim stated someone had place wet cotton balls on his pickup truck that was parked at the GRHS parking lot. The victim was not sure if there was any damage to his truck.
Officers were dispatched to Crossbow Drive regarding a despondent subject. The subject was contacted and she advised she was fine.
Officers took a report of a Voter Registration Violation at the Sweetwater County Court House. An employee informed officers of a subject who had registered to vote and voted when he was ineligible to do so. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
A Fraud report was taken on S 5th E when the victim advised someone had used her account to charge over $750 on her credit card. The charges were made in France and the victim stated she never left the country.
Officers investigated a crash at FMC Park when a car driven by James Smith drove off the side of a hill causing more than $1000 in damages to his car. Smith was transported to the hospital for his injuries.
Officers investigated a crash on Trail Drive at Winter View Drive when a vehicle driven by a 16 year old female struck a parked car owned by Thomas Allee. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each. The juvenile was cited for Speed Too fast for Conditions.
Officers took a crash report at the parking lot at 500 Monroe Street when a pickup truck driven by Levi Samz struck a camp trailer owned by Chris and Amber Johnson. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each.
Officers investigated a crash on E Flaming Gorge Way at Hwy 530 when a van driven by Omurbek Sirazhdivov struck a wooden fence causing over $1000 in damages to his van and taking out over 10’ of fence line. No injuries were reported and Sirazhdivov was cited for Speed Too Fast for Conditions.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Arkansas Street with a 66 year old female who was suffering from chest pains.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Bridger Drive with a 42 year old female who was unconscious and non responsive.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Crossbow Drive with a 20 year old female who had collapsed but was conscious.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to a barking dog complaint of Waggener Street; the dog’s owner was contacted and warned.
Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute on N 4th W; both parties had been drinking, no physical confrontation and both agreed to be separated for the night.
Officers assisted a motorist on Jensen Street at Barnhart Street whose vehicle became stuck in the snow.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Crossbow Drive with an 80 year old male who had fallen and needed to be transported to hospital.
Officers responded to a subject removal from a motel on E Flaming Gorge Way. The suspect was arguing with his wife on the phone and when hotel personnel asked him to quiet down he became belligerent. The hotel management wanted the subject to leave and he complied.
