Keith A Klein, age 53, of Rock Springs was arrested on 1/14/13 at 10:28 am on Commerce Way on an Arrest and Hold Order from Probation and Parole for a probation violation on the original charge of Domestic Battery.
Officers investigated a crash on Mansface Street when a vehicle driven by Larry Frint struck a car owned by Roger Frint. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each.
Officers investigated a crash at 98 Uinta Drive when a vehicle driven by Jeremy Corl slid into a car driven by Patricia Kiernan. The Corl’s vehicle then slid into a parked SUV owned by Danisha Pfeifer. Damage to the Corl and Kiernan vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each and under $1000 to the Pfeifer SUV. No injuries were reported and Corl was cited for Inattentive Driving.
Officers investigated a crash on N 1st E and E Flaming Gorge Way when a vehicle driven by Geneva Moore struck a car driven by Everado Castillon. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each. Moore was cited for Driving While Suspended and No Insurance.
Officers investigated a crash at the GRHS parking lot when a car driven by Taylor Ellison struck a stop sign. No injuries were reported and damage to the Ellison car was estimated at under $1000.
Officers investigated a crash on E Flaming Gorge Way when a trailer being pulled by a pickup truck driven by Robert Bostick struck a landscaping boulder. Damage to the trailer was estimated at under $1000 and no injuries were reported.
Officers investigated a crash on Butte Street at Windriver Drive when a car driven by a 17 year old male slid into a parked car owned by Thomas DeWitt. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each. The juvenile was cited for Speed Too Fast for Conditions.
A Vicious Animal report was taken on W 2nd S when personnel at Memorial Hospital advised a patient with a dog bite was at the hospital. The victim advised she was knocked down and bitten by a dog when she entered a local business. The victim did not wish to file charges and the dog was current on its shots.
Officers initiated a welfare check on a subject on W Railroad Street. The subject was fine and required no assistance.
Officers investigated a report of a Stop Sign violation when a crossing guard reported a car had driven through her stop sign. The driver was contacted and she stated she accidently slid through the stop sign because of the icy road conditions. A report was forwarded to the city prosecutor for review.
Officers responded to a 911 hang up call on Wild Hose Canyon Drive; it was determined to be accidental.
