Patrick R Shrma, age 27, of Green River, was arrested on 1/23/13 at 12:42 am on Homestead Drive for Driving While Intoxicated, Hit and Run and No Insurance. Shrma was stopped when officers noticed Shrma’s vehicle had recent damage to the front end. Subsequent investigation showed Shrma was intoxicated. Shrma refused to take a breath test and a search warrant was secured for a blood draw to determine his level of intoxication. Shrma was transported to the hospital and his blood was drawn and then he was taken to jail.

Matthew J Zupence, age 30, of Green River was arrested on 1/22/13 at 10:02 pm on E Flaming Gorge Way for Public Intoxication. Officers responded to a disturbance call and Zupence was contacted and officers determined he was intoxicated. Zupence was taken into custody and a breath test showed his blood alcohol content was over four times the legal limit.

A 16 year old male was arrested for Larceny on 1/22/13 at 8:35 pm on Hitching Post Drive.

Officers investigated an Assault that reportedly happened on E Flaming Gorge Way when the victim advised he was assaulted by a female bar tender. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney for review.

Officers took a report of Forgery on E 2nd N when the victim advised his ex-wife wrote checks on his account six years ago. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers investigated a crash on Riverview Drive at Wilkes Drive when a vehicle driven by Matthew Schafer was struck by a pickup truck driven by Anthony Carson. Three parties were injured and damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each.

Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on Barnhart Street when a car driven by Patrick Shrma struck a parked pickup truck owned by Doug Lauze. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each. Shrma was later located and arrested for DWUI.

Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash in the alley at N 3rd E when a car driven by Patrick Shrma struck a utility pole and a utility box. A mirror from the Shrma car was located at the scene. Shrma was located later and arrested for DWUI.

Officers took a Fraud report on S Wagonwheel Drive when the victim advised she received a phone call from an individual who stated the victim had taken out a loan and needed to pay the loan off or be arrested. The victim advised she never took out the loan and called the police. Officers determined the call was a scam and advised the victim to call police if contacted again regarding the loan.

Officers responded to a business alarm on E Flaming Gorge Way; it was determined to be accidental.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Evans Drive with a 61 year old male who was having difficulty breathing.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Crossbow Drive with a 67 year old female having chest pains.

Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Alabama Drive with the back passenger door opened; the vehicle’s owner was contacted and nothing appeared to be missing.
