Santos J Arellanes, age 19, of Rock Springs was arrested for Driving While Suspended on 1/29/13 at 12:39am on E Flaming Gorge Way. Arellanes was stopped for a speeding violation and a driver’s license checked showed his driver’s license to be suspended.

Officers took a Fraud report on Idaho Street when the victim advised someone used his identity in Illinois to open a Verizon account and charged over $1300 to the account. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers took a Fraud report when the victim advised she lost her debit card in Sandy Utah and someone used it to make over $300 in purchases.

A welfare check was initiated by police when a third party requested the police check the welfare of her sister on N 6th W. The sister was contacted and advised she was fine.

Officers assisted Department of Family Services’ personnel on Riverview Drive with a welfare check. Two children were taken into protective custody because of the living conditions at the residence.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on S Wagonwheel Drive with a 37 year old female having chest pains and difficulty breathing.

Officers impounded two brown dogs that were at large on Uinta Drive.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Shoshone Ave with a male who had passed out and was unresponsive; the male regained consciousness and refused transport.

Officers checked the county court house for an intruder when a janitor advised he heard some noises in the building. The building was checked and no one was located.
