Storm Drainage System
Responsibilities
The Storm Drainage System is designed to collect runoff and convey it to the river. The drainage system includes the drainage ditches, stormwater lines, catch basins, and two pump stations.

The Storm Drainage System is operated and maintained by one technician. This department has the following responsibilities: 
  • Clean and cut weeds in ditches
  • Clean stormwater lines
  • Clean catch basins
  • Check pump stations weekly
  • Preventive maintenance on two pump stations
  • Upgrade storm drainage map
  • Apply herbicide in some ditches
