The Public Works Department of the City of Green River is made up of about 40 employees, expanding to nearly 60 during the summer months. The Public Works Department is a service oriented department with six divisions including:

Areas of Service
Our specific areas of service include engineering, drainage maintenance, wastewater collection and treatment, engineering, solid waste collection and disposal, recycling, water distribution, maintenance of streets and alleys, snow removal, and maintenance of the entire City fleet.

We work to provide effective and efficient service to the public in all of these functional areas.

Facility Locations
  • Utility Division - 220 East Teton
  • Scalehouse / Landfill - at the corner of Upland and Uinta
  • All other Public Works offices - 325 East Teton
