Recreation Center
The Recreation Center is located just south of Green River High School.
The Green River Recreation Center is a multi-purpose, physical, and social activity center for Green River and area residents. It is the goal of the center to provide you and your family with a healthy, happy environment where all can share in fun, fitness, and fellowship!

The Recreation Center offers
Featuring an L-shaped swimming pool for both recreational and competitive swimming, complete with a "tot dock" and one-meter diving board, the pool offers a wide range of activities and opportunities for young and old alike. A variety of swim programs, lessons, and exercise classes are available for all ages. Program brochures are available at the Recreation Center and City Hall. Aquatics Page
The weight room offers a variety of equipment that will provide a great workout for all interested patrons.
The Gymnasium has two full courts for basketball, volleyball, and soccer. Jogging and walking are permitted around the perimeter of the gym.
Treadmills, bicycles, and elliptical machines are available in the Cardio Hall.
There are four racquetball courts available for racquetball and wallyball.
The Nursery provides a fun and exciting experience for the youngsters while parents are exercising. The nursery is available for patrons during prime time hours Monday through Friday. These services are available for children three months to seven years of age.
Two meeting rooms are outfitted to serve your business and social needs, whether it be a wedding shower, birthday party, or corporate meeting.

Barbara Carrol Half-Mile Outdoor Walking and Jogging Track
The track was officially named the Barbara Carroll Walking Track in honor of her efforts in getting the path built.
General Track Rules:
- Beware of intersections - both are visible
- Slower traffic stays to the right
- Please be considerate of others
- Nursery available during regular hours
- No motorized vehicles allowed
- Pets are welcome but must be on a leash
- Please pick up after your pet, doggy bags are provided
- No littering
- Four individual workout pieces to add to your workout
