Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 21, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
July 22, 2014:


Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on West 2nd North.

Officers responded to an address on Shoshone Avenue, in regards to a vehicle crash. It was reported a vehicle backed into another vehicle.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at addresses on: Butte Street, Riverview Drive, Lombard Street, West 3rd North and Jefferson Street.

Officers were dispatched to an address on West 2nd North, in reference to a report of a suspicious person. Officers located the individual and upon further investigation the individual was identified as a suspect in a burglary.

Officers responded to an address on Hillcrest Way, regarding a civil issue. Officers completed an information report about the incident.

Officers responded to an address on Wilderness Trail, in reference to a citizen assist regarding vehicle paperwork.

Officers responded to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a medical call.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Maryland Drive, in regards to a report of a barking dog complaint. Animal Control Officers contacted the dog’s owner and issued a warning.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a found dog. The dog was taken to the Green River Animal Shelter.

Officers responded to an address on Wilson Street, regarding a citizen assist. The reporting party observed a suspicious person in the area.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on South 2nd East, in regards to a report of a dog at large. The dog was located and taken to the Green River Animal Shelter.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on New Hampshire Street, in reference to a report of a dog bite. Animal Control Officers completed a report regarding the incident.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department, in regards to a report of trespassing. The reporting party wanted a trespass warning issued to an individual for their residence. Officers completed a report about the incident and issued the trespass warning.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Schultz Street, regarding a civil standby.

Officers responded to an address on Honor Way, in regards to a report of vandalism. The reporting party stated there was damage to a vehicle at the residence.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Jensen Street, in reference to a welfare check on a dog.

Officers responded to an address on Schultz Street, in regards to a report of threats. The reporting party stated they received threatening text messages.

Angelo Roybal, age 46, was arrested for Public Intoxication.

Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Riverview Drive, in regards to a report of a dog at large.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East 3rd North, in reference to a welfare check on a dog.

Officers responded to an address on Wind River Drive, in regards to a report of harassment.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Arkansas Drive, in reference to a report of a missing person. The individual was not where they were supposed to be and had not come home. The individual returned home and was okay.
