A 17 year old male and a 17 year old female were cited on 8/18/11 at 01:34 hours on Logan Street for Possession of Tobacco and Curfew.

Officers investigated a report of a Domestic Battery on 8/17/11 at 23:30 hours on E 2nd N when a female reported her boyfriend slapped her on her leg. Officers arrived and spoke with both parties involved and the female half advised she did not want her live in boyfriend jailed but did want him out of the residence for the night. Officers documented the victim’s injuries and the male half left the residence. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

Officers were dispatched to a fight in progress on E Railroad Street. Upon arrival they spoke with the parties involved and learned a punch was thrown and no injuries occurred and the victim did not want to seek charges. The parties were separated and the suspect was given a ride home.

Officers investigated a crash on E Teton Blvd when a car driven by Rachelle Russell failed to negotiate a turn, struck a road sign and then came to rest off the roadway. Damage to the car driven by Russell was estimated at over $1000 and no damage was reported to the road sign and no injuries were reported. Russell was cited for Careless Driving.

Suspicious Circumstances were reported on W Teton Blvd when the reporting party advised she observed a male remove a screen and enter an apartment through a window. He then opened the back door and let a female male in the apartment. The reporting party then said the male and female exited the apartment and locked the back door. The reporting party advised they were not carrying anything when they left the apartment. Officers attempted to contact the owners of the apartment without success and left a business card with instruction to call the police.

Officers received a report from Memorial Hospital on 8/18/11 at 02:20 hours of possible child neglect and an investigation is ongoing at this time.
